Karine Shufford

Karine Shufford is the Chief Strategy Officer of African Strategic Investment Partners (ASIP), where she leads the firm’s strategic partnerships, institutional engagement, and business development initiatives. She works closely with governments, private sector leaders, development institutions, and international investors to cultivate relationships that advance ASIP’s mission of preparing and mobilizing investment across Africa.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership experience spanning finance, business administration, product management, and strategic consulting, Karine brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex investment and infrastructure initiatives. She has built a distinguished career developing high-impact partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and guiding organizations through strategic expansion across multiple industries. 

Karine is the Chief Executive Officer of Three Eagles Synergy LLC and serves as Executive Director and President of Onatti Foundation Inc., where she has led collaborative initiatives across telecommunications, infrastructure, real estate, technology, transportation, healthcare, international trade, and agriculture. Her ability to align public and private sector stakeholders has positioned her as a trusted advisor in developing sustainable partnerships and long-term investment strategies. 

Throughout her career, Karine has collaborated with governments, financial institutions, multinational corporations, and international organizations, successfully facilitating strategic initiatives and commercial relationships both domestically and internationally. Her professional experience includes leadership and advisory roles with organizations such as American Airlines, Bank of America, Pulte Mortgage, Con-Way Freight, Verizon Business, Qwest Communications, Spectrum Human Resource Systems, Danzas Corporation, AT Services, TSG Global Holding, and Phoenix Holding Investment Projects.  

At ASIP, Karine is responsible for strengthening strategic alliances, expanding institutional partnerships, supporting capital mobilization efforts, and fostering collaboration between governments, development finance institutions, private investors, and project sponsors. Her leadership plays a vital role in advancing ASIP’s vision of creating a sustainable pipeline of investment-ready projects that drive economic growth across Africa.
