Carelle Asha Useni

Carelle Asha Useni serves as ASIP’s Country Project & Government Relations Coordinator for the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting the organization’s project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and institutional relations activities from Kinshasa.

She brings several years of progressive experience in project coordination, executive support, institutional liaison, and stakeholder communication. Before joining ASIP, Carelle held multiple roles with Africa Union Holdings, where she advanced from Project Assistant and Executive Assistant to serving as the focal point between the City of Kinshasa and the company, before assuming responsibilities as Project Coordinator.

In her role at ASIP, Carelle supports the coordination of projects across the Democratic Republic of Congo, facilitates engagement with government institutions, public enterprises, private-sector partners, and local stakeholders, and helps ensure the effective follow-up of project preparation activities. She also assists with meeting coordination, documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and the organization of institutional and project-related engagements.

Her professional background includes experience in managing project schedules, monitoring budgets, resources, and deadlines, coordinating executive meetings and travel, preparing professional correspondence, and organizing corporate conferences and VIP events. She has also represented Africa Union Holdings at international meetings and conferences and facilitated exchanges and negotiations with both local and international partners.

Carelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Law from Université Technologique Bel Campus in Kinshasa. Her legal and administrative education complements her practical experience in project coordination, government relations, institutional communication, and organizational management.

She is fluent in French, Swahili, and Lingala, with working knowledge of English. Her adaptability, communication skills, collaborative approach, and knowledge of the Congolese institutional environment position her as an important member of ASIP’s team in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
